Use them after each breastfeeding or breast pumping session. Try Soothies® in your last trimester to help condition nipples for breastfeeding keeping skin supple and soft. Soothies® gently cling to the nipple and areola breast tissue and moisturizes, keeping your nipples soft while preventing the formation of scabs. Scabs have been shown to delay a healthy healing process.
Soothies® have a premium cloth backing that allows the gel pad to stay in place by providing a smooth friction free barrier that prevents the gel from sticking to your clothing.
Soothies® provide an immediate cooling sensation and will not allow bacteria and fungus to grow, as demonstrated in
laboratory settings. They protect your nipples from the discomfort of abrasive friction and will not harbor bacteria. They can be reused until they become fully saturated and appear thick and spongy. A cloudy appearance is normal on the surface of the gel side after wearing. Simply rub the gel surface with a clean damp cloth to easily remove any protein build up. Typical usage is 1-3 days per pad.
