Counseling & Consultation

Ongoing,  comforting encouragement throughout your breastfeeding experience is essential to your success.  Breastfed provides experienced support and evidence-based information to help you through a difficult time.  

Breastfed offers a variety of services to meet your needs:

• Phone or email consultation support services: $10 per counseling session.   If the problem can not be handled on the phone or email, a face to face consultation will be recommended.  
• Private consultation is available through Breastfed by appointment only.  The initial consultation provides: weight of baby, evaluation of a feeding,  suggestions and written recommendations to remedy any difficulties as well as lots of education and support during the process! 

  Fixing a problem often just takes one visit which usually takes approximately 1.5 hours and offers continued support after you leave.  
• Initial IN-Office Consultation:  $90
• Follow Up Consultaion (if needed):  $40-$75 depending on the complexity of the visit
• Twins or hospital (limited to OPRMC) Consultation:  $125
