Ongoing, comforting encouragement throughout your breastfeeding experience is essential to your success. However, it is not always easy to find. Sometimes you just need evidence-based answers to help you through a difficult time as well as experienced support. Breastfed offers a variety of services to meet your needs:  Phone or email consultation support services for $10 per counseling session. If the problem can not be handled on the phone and instead requires a face to face consultation with Breastfed, the fee is credited at that visit (or not charged initially). Private consultation is available through Breastfed by appointment only. The initial consultation is $90 and provides: weight of baby, evaluation of a feeding, suggestions and written recommendations to remedy any difficulties as well as lots of education and support during the process! Twins or hospital (limited to OPRMC) visits initial fee is $125. Private consultation usually takes approximately 1.5 hours and offers continued support after you leave as well as a report sent to your baby's provider. Fixing a problem often just takes one visit but if there are follow up needs these visits range from $40-$60 depending on length and complexity of visit. If you are calling or emailing for counseling please indicate your preference for payment: credit card (which you will provide via secure phone or email) or PayPal invoice sent to your email. Once your consent is indicated by your payment preference, I will address your concern as quickly as possible. Bra fitting consultation is available by appointment also and is $5. A bra fitted properly (even underwires) will protect your breast tissue from clogging or damage that can lead to mastitis. It should finish the last few weeks of your pregnancy and get you through the first several weeks of lactation comfortably.
